I had picked during the month of Dec 2009 really cheap! Brand new for 2009 model was listed on their site. As it states 19" LCD HDTV 720p/1080i is actually 18.5. So that is the only downfall to this set. Using the set as HDTV not bad I can use DTV feature even on COX without the digital HDTV box, this might vary within the States though. Anyway watching a CBS HD on a football game is very sharp looking with vivid colors. Using a digital HDTV box will yield better enhancements that the RAW broadcast signal. The set only has one input for each: RF, Composite-Video + Stereo Audio, S-Video, Component Video, VGA VGA/DVI shared using a adapter through VGA for DVI (HDCP video device only) and HDMI. There is two audio inputs one for the PC and the other is for headphones. The power supply unit is not built-in just like a laptop type with cord. All the connections are to the left side of the set. You can see them, but you can also use Velcro to hide them.

Using the DTV feature does give you a DTV Program Guide that works only with CBS HD. But it does work. The prior member said the sound wasn't good. I don't know about that member but I ran Hauppauge MediaMVP through it using MY Music Player and the MP3 sounds crisp and loud Yes the volume on this set is loud. Which isn't bad the volume amp is stronger than even some larger HDTV as it uses that new clone sound feature that comes from under the screen. There is a amber blue light that comes on when you turn on the set and then when you turn it off turns to red. Not bright blue glow like other sets in its class.

The remote has a lot of tiny buttons for all kinds of stuff. You also get favorite menu feature doesn't seem to be a limit to how huge of a list that can hold all your SD or HD channels. Any universal learning remote can be use with this set is what I use with it.

I will start out with the only thing that could be a negative. and it's not the controler despite the fact tht the controler does look small and cheaply it works fine. is that I am having problem using both HDMI i think it might be something to do with the devices i am hooking up but since i have not yet deciphered what the problem is, there is a small chance that it might be the TV.

Now i am probably very sure lot of you wondering why should you buy a 32 inch 1080 p tv, when 42 and 40 lcd some of similar brand type at around 650 to 750 at costco, walmart or sams, well first off, if it's just for your room a 42 inch monster is going to look ridiculous, but the most important reason is that if you want your LCD to double as your PC monitor ( which i am currently doing ) then 32 is about the biggest size that you should get without hurting your eyesight or making it unconfortable to use, 32 is just big enought for you to use under regular medium size room conditions. even small rooms will look good with a nice 32 incher, personally this TV is multitasking, its my PC monitor, MY PS3 gaming tv and my cable, blue ray and DVD player I use it for everything and so far the inputs are plentifull and the customisation is great. meaning that you can actually make it look better than at the store, my custum settings are actually quite better than the factory to my eyes.

In other words if you watn a Living room cost effective TV. buy one of the Vizio's 37 to 46 inchers at just around 150 to 200 more.

but if you need a full HD for your Room this is very private and solid buy, only have had it for about 5 months but so far so good, eventually ill probably buy a bigger TV for the living room but this one is getting the job done so far and I won't complain.

I had a 19" LCD from HP before this, one that PCWorld rated as very good. I think this Sceptre Naga III is soooo much better than that. I prefer the tighter dot pitch of this monitor to standard 19" LCD's. It makes text look much clearer, which is my biggest complaing with 19" LCD's. By the way, I have a NVidia 7800GT, which runs this monitor at its 1680 X 1050 native resolution through a DVI cable just great.

To be honest, I haven't played any games with this thing yet, but movies look great, and I don't see any real ghosting.

In general, I'm one of those people who always find faults with things, but I love this thing, and with the rebate, it's worth every penny.
