SAMSUNG F2380 23-Inch LCD Monitor Review
I am a work at home project manager with the dreaded "over 40" vision. I am at my PC for 10 hours a day viewing mostly text but occasional video. I was previously using a very large CRT that allowed me to set the resolution high without losing text clarity but when it finally died I needed to replace it. Unfortunately it is very hard to find reviews on monitors that are not directed at graphics professionals or gamers. I knew the TFT LCD monitors would not be able to give me what I needed and reading about the quality of a CPVA I decided to search for an affordable CPVA panel. I found this one and decided to take a chance, well it was a winner! Although the native resolution on the F2380 is 1920x1080, this screen successfully maintains crisp font at 1280x720 resolution. I also really love the screen real estate, I can have my email open on one half of the screen while reviewing a document on the other half. I have also watched widescreen DVD movies on this monitor and the display was excellent. Other perks are: tilt/swivel/height adjustment, bright screen, thin bezel frame, 2-digital/1-analog input, and excellent viewing angles.
I know there are others out there that are at their computers for long stretches of time looking at documents/email and are in need of an affordable monitor that has it all...this is the one!
